    It's a 70-inch Sony Bravia LCD HDTV and it displays 1920x1080 resolution, and I've seen them demo it at the SonyStyle store in New York. It can be used as a computer monitor. (Its HDMI ports can be connected to any PC that has a DVI or HDMI output). The price notwithstanding, that's a very nice flat screen HDTV.

    aviatingamateur identified the largest production flat-panel TV, but a prototype plasma 150 inches in size has been demonstrated by Panasonic. Sharp demonstrated a prototype LCD a couple years ago that was the largest LCD built, 108 inches.

    Depends what you mean by "flat screen tv" A theater screen is pretty big...
