Almost EVERYONE LOVES to give THEIR OPINIONS, what are YOUR opinions on these CURRENT events in Wrestling?+BQ?

*Almost everyone in this section and just about in every section loves to give out their personal opinions on everything. So my question is what is your opinion on -

*Bret Hart signing with the WWE. ( What are your reactions to this decision. What do you think the WWE is going to do between Bret Hart and Shawn Micheals etc. )

*TNA Impact moving to Monday Nights to compete with WWE Raw. ( Do you think that this will ultimately be TNA's WCW like demise. Do you believe that Vince McMahon will just step it up and just eliminate TNA? )

*Sheamus becoming the World Champion over Kofi Kingston. (Over all what do you think about Sheamus becoming WWE Champion and do you think Kofi Kingston should have been the one in Sheamus' position? )

All I am looking for is other peoples opinions on these three things. Really go into as much detail as you like and rant all you want lol.

BQ- Do you take a sense of pride in Professional Wrestlers who come from your hometown or home country?

BQ2- (Optional Question) The Holiday Season is among us and I would just like to wish everyone a Happy Holiday :). What is your favourite Holiday Sweet Treat (Desserts) ?

;) lol

Bret Hart signing with WWE - I don't really care. It's definitley a shock because there was obviously a lot of tension between Bret and the WWE as a whole company. And it's like when his time with WWE begins will the fire be reignited and will it cause tension again. So I'm kinda worried because as far as I'm concerned Bret Hart wasn't the nicest person backstage and I'd hate for him to cause conflict once again. I never really liked Bret as a wrestler, but him being back in WWE will be something to watch, it will be very interesting, I just hope it goes smoothly for both him and WWE. I wouldn't like to see WWE make something between Bret and HBK, whether it's one match or a whole fued, I'd hate to see it. The past is done and if they do something now in the PG era then it could spoil history. If Bret comes back to wrestle then he should get someone over. If he comes back in a non wrestling position then he shouldn't be involved with HBK.

TNA moving to Monday - LOL! I feel sorry for TNA actually. IMO, TNA have purposly done this to obviously go head to head with WWE and attempt to get higher ratings and shove WWE down to the ground. WWE has gone downhill so fast, but to many people it is still watchable. TNA has been good, but nothing special from what I have witnessed over the past several months of watching. TNA has maintained itself. However, even though Raw has seemed to get worse and worse, it is still better than TNA imo. I think TNA have dug a massive hole for themselves, trying to defeat WWE Raw, but I do think that it will turn around and slap TNA so hard in the face. When the rating's are revealed for Jan 4th, I think TNA will be spitting feathers. In other words they will be mortified to see that their devious plan didn't pay off, and actually Raw won the war. No matter how bad WWE can get, I think that WWE will always remain the best professional wrestling promotion that there is. By best, I mean the most popular. TNA is a fantastic show, but I think Jan 4th will prove that WWE is still more popular, by quite a significant margin. TNA are debuting Hogan on the 4th, and WWE are bringing back Bret for the 4th? So it's like Bret Vs Hogan if this is true. Each company is pulling something out the bag to defeat the other. I think that WWE will win the battle either way. TNA have made a wrong decision imo. And Vince can never eliminate TNA imo, TNA is popular and always will be. But WWE will just remain ahead.

Sheamus becoming WWE Champion - Sheamus becoming the champion was a massive shock to me. I still stand by my opinion that the whole situation was a botch, and I don't care what y'all say. GB... ;) Anyways. It was a shock to say the least. I don't think Sheamus has anything that stands out and makes you think wow, this guy should be main event. To me he's just another mid carder that maybe 1 day could be good in main event. But he's main event now, and I've accepted that. But, Sheamus has barely any fan connection, he's dominant okay, but is that really enough to make him into the WORLD champion after 3 months of whatever. I capatalize world because the WWE title and WHC, used to have a lot of prestige they used to actually mean something. To be a world champion means you're the best, the ultimate best. You are the best in the business, well Sheamus ain't the best and he's far from it. Anyway, I think that other talent should have been placed over Sheamus. But WWE make the stories and we just have to appreciate what we're able to see. I dont hate him as champion, I just think that the whole thing was rushed. Even Shelton Benjamin has more fan connection than Sheamus. But Sb has gotten nowhere. And I don't know why everyone is saying why is Sheamus champion over Kofi? Why should Kofi be the champion? I'm a Kofi fan, but RAW is turning into the Kofi and Sheamus show. Uh hello... What about MVP? A great superstar who is always used in MITB to practically make up the numbers. What about him? What about Jack Swagger, who is potentially one of the best wrestlers that Raw has. I would pick Kofi as champion over Sheamus because Kofi has the whole package. But why are we just using Kofi as an example? Jack Swagger and MVP, IMO, would make fantastic champions.

BQ: Well I only know a few actual British wrestlers and I'm not major fan of 1. William Regal, I've never really been a fan of him and actually he rather annoys me, so let's not go there. Yeah and British people can say Umaga, we don't all say Umanga. RIP Umaga, btw.

The British Invasion of TNA now I actually like these guys so I'm proud that they're British. Rob Terry is born Welsh, not too far from where I actually live. I know no wrestlers from where I actually come from, but British Invasion yeah I like them and I'm proud they come from Britain.

BQ2: Merry Christmas to you too. I'm gonna skip this Q because I never eat desserts.

Bret Hart signing, if true, is a good thing for the short term. There is a lot of history between him and a lot of guys in the WWE that there is a lot of storyline potential. The only downside is that he is not fit to wrestle anymore which means fans might get a little restless about that in the long run should he stay on longer.

TNA will get demolished. If they can't beat WWE in the ratings on a different time slot, then how do they expect to beat WWE on the same night, also having to face off against Monday Night Football?

Sheamus winning the title was way to soon. I don't know if Kofi should have been in his place, but he definetely deserves it over Sheamus.

BQ: No, I don't take any pride in it. Most Canadians do, but frankly I don't care.

BQ2: Shortbread cookies. Which unfortunately, so far I haven't had any this year. :(

I am happy that Bret Hart is on the wrestling scene again yet I'm not excited. It has been a very very long time since the last time he wrestled full time so I don't expect him to be as good as before. Bret would probably act as the manager of The Hart Dynasty. And help them get their first reign as the Unified Tag Team Champion since Bret is chronologically advantaged.

TNA and WCW are different. Vince doesn't need to step up since TNA got the worst promotion award 2 years in a row by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. However, Vince will try to have an awesome RAW kick out opener.

He doesn't deserve the title simply because he only worked in FCW and WWE for less than six months. If I am a mid card like Kingston, I would get mad for the unfairness of the company but what can we do? Backstage politics is the main problem of some WWE stars because they are afraid of losing their job. Some fans say that he became a champion because Triple H was his buddy. Well, they may be correct or wrong. But one thing is for sure: WWE aimed to rise younger talents this year.

Sadly, no. I do not want to be a hypocrite so I always tell my Filipino friends that Batista is one of my disliked wrestler. Sure he has a big body, 5 cars and nice tattoos but it always seems that Vince is attracted to him. How can an injured guy get a world title shot in a month?

Bret Hart signing with the WWE - I'm extremely excited to see Bret Hart, whether or not he wrestles. I've seen some of his matches, I've read his book, and I think it would be awesome to see him live on TV since I couldn't when he actively wrestled. I think this is a great decision by the WWE, since the mere MENTION of his name got the RAW crowd to wake up and cheer, even though they were dead for most of the night. I think it will attract a lot of attention and I just can't wait to see what develops. Since Bret has said he's forgiven Vince, I would like to see how Shawn handles this, since he's matured now and isn't like before. I don't know what the WWE are planning to do (and that's better for me, I like being surprised!) but I know it will be interesting.

TNA Impact moving to Monday Nights to compete with WWE RAW - Well, since it's a one night thing to test the waters and see if they can compete with WWE, I don't really have a reaction yet. But I do think they are severly overestimating the usefulness of Hulk Hogan. He may have been a big star back then, but now he's old and he's not as good as he once was. Not only that, he has a reputation of being a notorious backstage politician. I wish TNA would go back to Thursday so we don't have to choose instead of enjoying both options. But I really hope Hogan doesn't destroy TNA, and that Dixie Carter knows what she's doing. . .

Sheamus becoming the WWE Champion over Kofi Kingston - Well I'm a bigger fan of Kofi than Sheamus, but it's no use complaining. We asked for new faces in the main event picture, we got one. I'll keep watching and see how everything develops before I make any opinion, but yeah, I would be happier if Kingston was champion to be honest. But he'll get his time soon enough.

BQ: lol I don't even know any professional wrestlers from my home country. But if I did, I probably would take a sense of pride.

BQ2: Happy Holidays to you too ;) but I'm sorry, I can't narrow down all my favorite holiday sweet treats into ONE favorite choice. There are just too many delicious choices!

1-I'm excited about Bret Hart returning to WWE cause he's a true legend. I think he'll put HBK in the sharpshooter.

2-I think WWE will quickly eliminate TNA's competition, cause TNA only gets a rating of 1.0 and WWE's C show E.C.W sometimes gets more than that.

3-I don't like Sheamus being WWE champion cause he's still new and he's been pushed too quickly. I don't think Kofi Kingston should have been in his place, cause he's a face and you can't have two faces have a feud (Cena and Kingston) so I think either Jack Swagger or a member of Legacy should have won cause at least they've been in the WWE for a while and they've been mid-card champions before.

BQ: Sadly none of the wrestlers are from my hometown

    BQ2:Happy Holiday's to you too

  • Kristen (d) << Would be a face, but those dont work here.

On the subject of Bret Hart... I dont know all the details, wether or not he is scheduled to have a last match, something like that, but if he were, I do think it would be great to see it against Shawn Michaels. I also would like to see something of Ortons legend killer Side come out, and kill the legend of Bret Hart. That would be pretty cool too. But with him and Vince McMahon, I dont think they should get that personal, because Im sure its already uncomfortable between them, just coming back to where his name was put to shame, but to then take it into a storyline I dont think would be right.

On the subject of TNA... Why are people saying it is moving permanently? Its only moving for ONE live show, January 4th, at 8 pm on spike TV, for the debut of Hulk Hogan. But If TNA were to be successful here, and move permanently, I think it would be a WCW Repeat. because WCW was beating WWF in the ratings for 88 straight weeks, they were on top, they thought they were unstoppable, then they go into the crapper. The same will happen with TNA.

On The subject of Sheamus... I dont think he deserves the WWE Championship right now. He got it because of the influence of Triple H, who Sheamus trains with. Which I guess it pays off to have connections, but there are guys back there who deserve it more. Kofi You mentioned, but also Jack Swagger, The Miz, MVP, Evan Bourne, Chavo Guerreo, Chris Masters, Ted Dibiase, Carlito, would all be good choices for a WWE title push, instead they give it to the big dude, who cant even speak on a mic, just because HHH thinks he should have it. Its really not fair. But then again, Lifes not fair, and neither is the WWE.

BQ: A little bit, I take alot of pride in The Miz for coming from Cleveland, but not much anyone else. But I liked the Miz Before I knew he was from Cleveland, so I guess not too much him either.

BQ2: Idk, I dont eat alot of desserts.

I think it will be cool to see Bret Hart and I think the WWE will get more ratings.

I don't think that TNA is going to beat RAW and I'll be watching RAW because I don't like TNA.

I think that he won it too soon and I think he is supposed to lose it.

BQ: Yes. Wrestling is a sport in Mexico

    BQ2: Merry Christmas.
