What pet should I get,Bearded Dragon,Snake, or a Chinchilla?
Ok I originally was going to get a chinchilla because I see it and it was really cute but then i discovered the bearded dragon and they seemed really cool.Chinchillas are high maintenance but they are trainable and actually care for you but but bearded dragons are low maintenance but they reptile store guy said that they will never like you or care for you but tolerate you which I don't like. Then I thought of how cool snakes are and how cool it must be to watch them eat something. But the thing that seems cool is that Chinchillas can run through tubes and stuff and they seem playful but you cant really take them anywhere like you can with a snake or bearded dragon because you can perch them on your shoulder or let them wrap around your arm.Every-time I try to decide which one the pros and cons always tie up.The main Qualities Im looking for are:
-Maintenance(How easy they are to maintain, feeding, cleaning their cage,ETC.)
-How fun they are and how they interact with you
-How they care for you or like you.
Ive kind of eliminated bearded dragon, right now its between a ball python or a chinchilla,im not sure about the ball python though because i dont think i can hold it when it gets to certain sizes and also the cost, the budget right now is 275 for the pet+ Cage/starter kit

I would have to say that a snake would probably be the best for you.
Maintenance- Snakes are low maintenance because you don't have to feed them all the time, usually only once every week or two. Also with most snakes, you dont have to spend all your time with them. With the proper sub-strait, clean up is usually pretty easy also.
Fun/Interaction/Care- Snakes are good for this because no matter how much time you spend with them they will always love you, they are fun to handle and they all have their own personality. Also if you let them free roam or have a larger habitat for them, you can watch them do all sorts of things, especially tree snakes that like to climb on things. It is really fun to watch.
I have owned snakes, hamsters and sugar gliders (similar to chinchilla) and many different kinds of lizards. Out of my experience, i would say that snakes are the best, because gliders, hamsters and chinchillas, or other rodent for that matter, are difficult to take care of, they require a lot of time and training. For lizards, they are like you said a animal that will basically put up with you, they really don't show a lot of feeling for you, for the most part, and also bearded dragons do get rather large, depending on varying aspects. Their maintenance is a lot also because you do have to feed them every day and spend a lot of time with them because if you dont they will get mean and aggressive towards you. If your looking for a cool animal i would also recommend a leopard gecko they can get good size and are really sweet, dont require a lot of maintenance and are super fun to watch.
As for snakes, i would recommend a python because boas generally aren't as docile. For larger snakes, a burmese python would be a big one, they are going to require a lot of space though. I wouldn't recommend for a first snake. Smaller/Starter or beginner snakes i would recommend a ball python. It is for sure one of the best first snakes you can have. They only grow up to about 4 feet and are sweet and loving.

Well i personally have 4 bearded dragons. 1 female adult, 1 male adult, and 2 male juveniles. They are excellent pets that all have different personalities. They are in my opinion the best reptile i have ever owned. Although snakes are still really cool to have... i would still go with a bearded dragon.

They will give you more affection than a snake or bearded dragon. But my second choice would be a snake :)

Get a beared dragon. They are skilled in martial arts, so if you leave them home alone they can fend for themselves by beating up robbers.

honestly i feel like those pets are cool to have but they wont really interact with you the way other animals can show you affection.. but if i had to pick it would prob be the chinchilla
