Is It Safe To Give Websites Your Cell #?
I really really really (really) want to watch The Jersey Shore online, but all the sites I found require you to take a quiz, and at the end you have to put in your cell number. What do they do with your number? My texting plan has unlimited texting to anyone, as well as unlimited videos and pics. However, it charges me for data. Will it send me advertisements or something? Thanks!

Unless it's facebook or a website that lets you control privacy settings and who or what has access to your cellular then NO, it is not safe.
These websites charge you like $3 for ever txt (does not matter if you have unlimited txting) and they often automatically subscribe you to updates, which all charge you.
Do not do it.

I wouldn`t give your cell# out in case they spam you with text messages and might try to make you to use lots of data so you lose money.
I hope my answer will help you! :-).
