If a captive tiger was released into the jungles of Mexico what would become of the tiger?

I am wanting to write a story for my english class about a 2-3 year old tiger that had been born in captivity is brought to mexico to be in a zoo but escapes into a jungle. I was wondering if anyone might know what a tiger that was born and had lived in captivity for 2-3 years might react when released into the wild.

Update:

If the tiger was hit by a bus where would it most likely be taken for treatment?

I am going to go under the assumption the tiger has not been taught to hunt.

The tiger was hit by a bus and the driver was scared to do anything so he called the police the first chance he had. The police got there and the injured animal attacked one of them and killed him or really mutilated him. Then he ran off. Hurt and hungry he saw a farm and someone outside that resembled his handler so went to him for food and compassion.

That is all that I am going to give you. You can do with it what you want.

You have a major problem. While the tiger is not a big problem to human life when it is not hungry, it does become dangerous when it has not eaten in more than 24 hours. It has lived it's entire life in a cage and therefore it's hunting skills are not hone, so it will look for something that it knows can't out run it. Furthermore, it has no fear of humans since it has lived around us. Not to mention, tigers have a nasty habit of going into "Possession" when they have something in their mouth. If a tiger playfully bites on a human, it could go into possession and not let go until something of greater value is force into it's mouth.

You can't predict what would happen. Maybe the tiger would kill all the animals in the jungle and destroy Mexico's ecosystem, or maybe it would get hit by a bus.

its possible, but also improbable. a tiger may be able to survive in the jungle, but eventually it would be discovered and killed by local villagers

It would try to find something to eat. Depending on how it was raised, it may not know how to hunt and may starve to death. It may be able to hunt game animals like deer successfully or it may turn to liverstock if it cannot find food.

It would die. Not right away. But as soon as it found it necessary to kill humans to survive, it would be killed.
