9 Fave Fantasy Books of 2009?
Yeah, I'd asked this question already, but I decided to re-ask it, in hopes of getting some better answers than last time. Anyways, this is my list:
1. The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins
2. Catching Fire, by Suzanne Collins
3. Fragile Eternity, by Melissa Marr
4. The Chosen, by L.J. Smith
5. Evermore, by Alyson Noel
6. The Summoning, by Kelley Armstrong
7. Graceling, by Kristin Cashore
8. Fire, by Kristin Cashore
9. The Van Alen Legacy, by Melissa de la Cruz
And, yeah, that's just the order in which I read them, not the preference order.
Oh, and it's not books published in 2009, it's books that you READ in 2009.
Anyways, have fun!

1.The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
2.Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
3.The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong
4.The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong
5.The Sea of Trolls by Nancy Farmer
6.The Land of the Silver Apples by Nancy Farmer
7.The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman
8.The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman
9.The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman
And you're wrong Glow, no one kills themselves in The Hunger Games or Catching Fire. Well, someone might, but none of the main characters. If you're talking about Katniss, then no she doesn't, she just pretends to at the end of The Hunger Games. Sorry for the spoilers for anyone who hasn't read it, but I just had to straighten that out.

Honestly, pretty much none of thes would be on my list although theres a lot I haven't read on this list.
I won't read The Hunger Games because she killed herself.. just no...and I couldn't get through Evermore, it was terrible in my opinion. The only other one I think I read was The Chosen and I can't remember what it was about... :(
Anyways, here's mine:
1. Glass House (Whole series actually) This book is considered a thriller, but it's fantasy, about vampires, by Rachel Caine
2. Wicked Lovely, by Melissa Marr
3. Maximum Ride (Can be argued to not be fantasy but I think it is) by James Patterson
4. Wings of a Faerie (This is a joke, don't try to look it up, it sort of exists, sort of doesn't.), by me. ;D
I really don't have that many favorites that I can come up with names of right now--gotta start writing them down :D--but I read like crazy and fantasy is my favorite genere.
