  • 10 Fave Fantasy Books of 2010?

Ok, seeing as when I last asked this question, I only got one reply, I decided to try again.

These are the books you read in 2010 that were your favorite. They don't have to be books that came out that year, but that you read that year.

Here's my list of favorites, in no particular order:

1.City of Glass by: Cassandra Clare

2.The Demon King by: Cinda Williams Chima

3.The Last Olympian by: Rick Riordan

4.The Seven Songs of Merlin by: T.A. Barron

    5.Incarceron by: Catherine Fisher

    6.Mistwood by: Leah Cypess

    7.Assassin’s Apprentice by: S.R. Vaught & J.B. Redmond

8.A Prince Among Killers by: S.R. Vaught & J.B. Redmond

9.Finnikin of the Rock by: Melina Marchetta

    10.Mockingjay by: Suzanne Collins

  • College/University Question?

Ok, so, I'm a junior, and I'm starting to look at colleges. I plan on becoming an editor in the future, and maybe someday an author. Yes, I've considered all 'reach' universities (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, etc), but I need something more realistic, if you know what I mean. I need a college recommendation that's more of a back-up plan, but it has to be a pretty good one anyways. Any recommendations from anybody? Please? With sugar on top?

Oh, and just in case you wanna know, I'm generally an A student, and I did pretty well on my PSAT, for the first time I took it. Over 94% of everyone who took it, so, I think I did fine.

    So, anybody?

  • 9 Fave Fantasy Books of 2009?

Yeah, I'd asked this question already, but I decided to re-ask it, in hopes of getting some better answers than last time. Anyways, this is my list:

    1. The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins

    2. Catching Fire, by Suzanne Collins

    3. Fragile Eternity, by Melissa Marr

    4. The Chosen, by L.J. Smith

    5. Evermore, by Alyson Noel

    6. The Summoning, by Kelley Armstrong

    7. Graceling, by Kristin Cashore

    8. Fire, by Kristin Cashore

    9. The Van Alen Legacy, by Melissa de la Cruz

And, yeah, that's just the order in which I read them, not the preference order.

Oh, and it's not books published in 2009, it's books that you READ in 2009.

    Anyways, have fun!

  • 9 Fave Fantasy Books of 2009?

Yes, it is that time of the year again! This has turned into an amazing tradition! Asking this once every year...

Ok, enough reminiscing, you know what to do!

Oh, and these are my faves:

    1. The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins

    2. Catching Fire, by Suzanne Collins

    3. Fragile Eternity, by Melissa Marr

    4. The Chosen, by L.J. Smith

    5. Evermore, by Alyson Noel

    6. The Summoning, by Kelley Armstrong

    7. Graceling, by Kristin Cashore

    8. Fire, by Kristin Cashore

    9. The Van Alen Legacy, by Melissa de la Cruz

Oh, and that not the order of my favorites, it's just the order in which I read them.

And, yeah, I know it's not the end of the year yet, but since I'll be gone soon, I thought I'd put this up before I leave.

  • Question about fainting?

Ok, yesterday, I almost fainted when my blood sugar got drastically low, and I couldn't help but notice that before I actually collapsed, my vision changed, and I could barely see anything. I was wondering, why does your eyesight do that when you're about to faint? Does it have something to do with the lack of blood or something?

All answers will be greatly appreciated.

  • Help! Ankle Emergency! Please help me!?

Ok, I twisted my ankle today during my dance class. It kept hurting while I danced, and once the class was over I checked it, it was very swollen, and it hurts when I step. The huge problem is I have to be healed by Saturday, so help me! Give me home remedies and stuff! I don't have time to go to the doctor, so no hospital or anything. I have to be able to dance by Saturday! Help! Oh, and please don't say casts and stuff because I can't let anybody in my class find out about this, it's a complete secret.

  • Who here will miss Samantha and Nellie? (They're being discontinued)?

This afternoon I found out about the discontinuation of the Samantha and Nellie American Girl Dolls. Here, I would like everyone to share their best memories, and plead to American Girl to not do this terrible thing.

  • H2O, Just Add Water: season 3?

What do you think will happen in season 3? Most imaginative answer gets 10 points!

Personally, I hope they introduce new characters, maybe a girl turned nymph on Mako, only in a circle of trees instead of the moon pool. And she has the power to make things grow, and talk to animals, and stuff like that! And they all meet and find out, and go through a whole bunch of other problems! Yeah! That would be so cool!

Anyway, show me your brainstorming! I love reading imaginary stories, so do your best!

  • 7 Fave Fantasy Books of 2007?

Please don't include Harry Potter because that one's pretty obvious to be on most lists. If you do want to write it down, just add a number 8 to the list. Fantasy please, don't write any others, I want to see how many fantasy books of the ones written down I have already read.
