What's to explain? No empire lasts forever.

The end of U.S. dominance? It already happened. That's what 9/11 REALLY meant.

Did the Soviets dare attack the U.S. mainland in the late forties-early fifties, even after MacArthur bombed Vladivostok in 1950? Would Korea have dared attack the U.S. in the 50s? Would Vietnam have dared to do so in the 60s? Would the Iranians have dared to do so in the 70s? How about the twenty or so liberation movements that the U.S. was fighting in the 80s? Or even the Iraqis in the 90s?

The U.S. may still be "first among equals" of the imperialist powers, but the complete dominance of the Empire over the world is OVER, OVER, OVER. And soon there won't be an Empire at all.

    Good riddance to it.

The EU, if they can actually federalize and get a centralized army (and if Britain decides to stop tap-dancing down the middle of the Atlantic and become a _real_ member), MAY be able to hold off the inevitable U.S. attack (imperial powers on their way out tend to attack their rivals) but it won't do much good - the EU will only have maybe a decade, two at the most, on top.

After that? China will shoulder them aside.

    The gravestones will read ---

    U.S. world Empire 1945-2001

    EU world dominance 2015-2030

The capitalists instead of reinvesting their profits, either allowed them to lie fallow, or exported jobs out of the United States which contributed to the economic downturn. They also resisted stimulus spending and spending on infrastructure and social needs. They also start wars of conquest, which makes them even richer, but does nothing for the masses , except kill them in combat. Therefore, hopefully this will be a fitting end to imperialism and capitalism The wanted to control Latin America by invoking the Monroe Doctrine, but they received a blow when a majority of countries in Latin America elected Socialist, sovereign and anti imperialist leaders.

The current crisis becomes an unresolved riddle if its is separated from the transitional character of our epoch of capitalism in decline

The huge Tower of Babel of fictitious capital, the global credit structure that was erected the last decades, has been transformed from an instrument of global expansion into a dominant factor of global disintegration and crisis. It is the highest manifestation of transition in history, from capitalism to world Socialism and communism as Marx had foreseen:

"The credit system appears as the main lever of over-production and over-accumulation in commerce solely because the reproduction process, which is elastic by nature, is here forced to its extreme limits [...] the self-expansion of capital based on the contradictory nature of capitalist production permits an actual free development only up to a certain point, so that in fact it constitutes an immanent fetter and barrier to production, which are continually broken through by the credit system. Hence, the credit system accelerates the material development of the productive forces and the establishment of the world market. It is the historical mission of the capitalist system of production to raise the material foundations of the new mode of production to a certain degree of perfection. At the same time credit accelerates the violent eruptions of this contradiction-crises- and thereby the elements of disintegration of the old mode of production.

via the upward push of leftist politics, which became into performed via pandering to the lazy and via reworking the regular public colleges into ignorant "sensible fool" factories. good morning, Doris. Going to a distinctive "international suggestions-set assembly" on the interior of sight pub this night? i'm nonetheless studying Russian. would not "Bolshevik" recommend the many times widely used consensus? like the flat earth concept, or that the Earth is the midsection of the universe, or that heavier issues fall swifter (look i'm going to teach it with technological know-how, right it rather is a feather and a hammer, see which one falls swifter...)? Or the AGW concept?

What Imperialism In the 70's Thailand told us to remove our military bases and we did Within months they were asking for our help when Vietnam invaded Cambodia We gave the Philippine their independence later they told us to remove our military bases and we did Today our military is helping them We allowed Porta Rico the right to vote for their independence and they did not want We gave back the Panama canal after we paid for and build it You really have no idea what in the hell you are talking about do you?

It was not as if any of these countries could make us do anything In fact there is not one country or group of countries that we if we wanted too we could not impose on will on if we had a mind too
