my lap top monitor stopped working?
so i was left my laptop idle, no programs open just on the desktop, and i went shopping and didn't bother to turn it off, so i came back and the monitor screen was black as if it was just not being used so i hit a few keys and nothing, tapped the mouse pad clicked, then i turned it off with the power button and turned it back on still nothing, turned it off took out the battery and put it back in and nothing, i just don't know much about laptops
its an HP pavilion dv9000

Hello! I am Yadavendra Singh Yadav. As you told that you left your lappi Idle and went for shopping and when you returned it's screen was whole black. When you turned it on nothing appeared on it's screen, it was still whole black.
As I know in most of the cases it happens due to the RAM crash. So go to a service provider and let him check the RAM of your laptop. If it is crashed then he will simply change it.
Other reasons may be graphics adapter may not working properly. So please make it checked by a service provider or If you can do then try it.
