Can you help with my treasure hunt?

I want to send my kids (ages 4,9,& 11) on a treasure hunt ot find their wii. I'm having a hard time coming up with clues. It has to be all inside because the weather is gonna be nasty. Any creative ideas would be much appreciated. And please don't say I'm being mean making them look for their gift, they told me it would be cool if we hid their presents!

Oh my gosh. This is what I did to find my Wii a few years ago, but my father hid it in a garbage can in the garage, and it almost got thrown out...

But I have a REALLY good idea!

Okay. So have the letters to "Garage" or "Bathroom" (or whatever room, or something like that.) on separate pieces of paper, like one letter per page, and have like a scavenger hunt to find each letter. The last paper that would be found would be something like, "_ _ _ _ _ _" For "Garage" or something like that. And they have to arrange the letters to find their present. Have all of the doors in the house closed at the time so that they can't see what's in each room, and have each piece of paper with the letter on it in each room. And have a list that says like, "First, go to (insert name here)'s bedroom" and have the paper w/ the letter right in the middle of the room, wherever you can easily see it, and its like the first thing you see in the room. and have that for each room, and then when you get to the Wii, put it in the middle of the room as well. They'll certainly have worked to get the Wii.

you should put a Christmas card under the tree with the first clue. saying something like "look for a (whatever color) box. and in the box there is an other clue. then look for a family picture or something like that tape another clue to the back. and just do stuff like that. end it at their room under their bed!
