Wanting very much to join the army but am about to have a significant fine.?

Okay so I was moving my truck from the barn to the house which is about a mile up a very unused backroad.

Well i got pulled over and because this truck is a farm only vehicle i didnt have proper insurance. Now I have a court summons and I'm guaranteed at least a 5 000 dollar fine. ( court is in 4 hrs from this time)

I want to join the canadian armed forces, but i've been reading that you can't with an outstanding fine. 5000 dollars will take a significant amount of time to pay off. But if I got in and was working through the military it would be almost too easy to pay the 5000.

So my question. How much will this affect my ability to join the armed forces?

I think if you dress nicely, inform the Judge that you were driving from one farmstead to the other in order to perform your "daily chores and duties" as described. He will ask: Is the insurance YOUR responsiblity or parents? Just answer, is it not more inhumane to let the animals starve to death if I can't get to them to feed them daily?

We farmed for years and our 300 head sow herd was seperated do to lice and other pathoges from the healthier"confinement" parts of the farm. Thus seperating animals to other areas of surrounding outbuildings; some miles away. They too must be fed. Just give reason why farms are seperated by miles and how you perform your daily tasks, and for how many years you've been doing this. Farm vehicles are for this purpose--Farming. This also includes driving grain hoppers and hay wagons. He will inform that insurance is the law. Not sure what fine he will set on this. He will however, treat you with respect and with the knowledge that you are willing to learn from him. Good Luck in the military!
