I always have fun naming goats. I go with themes some years, other times, their personalities force it upon me.

Some of this year's kids: Faline (from Bambi, because she looked like a deer fawn, and her parents were Fawn x Fallon), her sister (who is the spitting image of her mother) was named Cookie Cutter (Cookie for short), and my obnoxious little buck kid earned the name of Captain Charisma.

All does out of my pygmies end up with flower names: Violet, Lily...

Last year was a theme year: I had twins (Pride and Joy), Hope, Grace, Chance...

Other names: Celeste, Gypsy, Mystee, Goblin, Gremlin (their sire was named Troll, so I had to keep the theme going).

    Have fun with it.
