Hey, Americans! What do candy canes taste of?
We don't really have them in the UK at Christmas, so are they minty, fruity or something else?

Most are minty, but now they have other flavors like cinnamon, blueberry, strawberry, etc.

The inexpensive and traditional ones are usually peppermint or spearmint. They usually get thrown away. There are a plethera of gourmet canes on the market today ranging from ones that taste like lifesavers or other candy and high end "tirimisu, frrapacinno, merangue, etc" in confecton shops and gift shops. The even have sugar free for diabetics.!
