thoughts on the ending of 500 days of summer? and will there be a sequel (500 days of autumn)?

The ending of the movie really pissed me off. Summer was a complete *****. I was kind of into the movie until that scene in the park, but that turned me off. And then meeting Autumn was almost like they were trying to slap a happy ending on the movie.

We think A sequel would be amazing but Nooo!! Dont u get it... 500 days of summer meant tht he spent 500 days with her..... Autumn is forever!! If there is a sequel it will ruin the message of the first movie!!

Well i am not sure how to answer this bcos its for you to decide and as far as the movy is concerned both the guy and girl r correct from their own perspectives. Like the boy fell for her from the first moment he saw her,he thinks she is the One.he takes the relationship pretty much serious.whatever he really likes her. On the other hand the girl makes it clear from the first instance itself that she is not much into relations bcos she doesnt want to be anybody's anything. She is in for the casual relationship and tells him the same more than twice. She does everythin wid him bt she does not want to label the relationship as boyfrnd,grlfrnd. And finally she breaks up wid him. She marries someone else in a couple of months and its kinda hard to guess the complexity of her character. Well,i realy felt bad for the guy bcos i know how it feels to love someone so so much and still cant make the relationship workout. PS: Relationships are too complicated to explain in short.

i thought summer was the girls name? , my mom actually know a guy from work that looks like the led actor (whats his name).. i really dont think there will be a sequel :/
