Do you have to be a trained medical assistant to hand out medications in a group home?
I would like to know if you have to be a trained medical assistant to hand out medications in a group home in Minnesota. The medications being handed out are controlled substances. I would also like to know if staff in group homes should be giving enemas to the consumers? There is only one day of training for medications and a test out. Is this long enough or against the law?
