In the task pane, my volume icon wont show?
When i right-click on that section and click properties and am on the notification area tab, in system icons the volume box is unclickable. I cant click it, but i can click any other icon. how do i get it back?

There is no normal reason for the audio icon not to be activated. Check the abnormal reasons - busted or no audio or the function might have been usurped by a proprietary autio icon. So check out the properties of your audio card first.
