Why does my taller, larger friend weigh less than me?

My friend, who is about 5 inches taller than me and looks heavier, weighs about 5 pounds less than me. Why is that? :/

We use the same scale, so there's no inconsistancies there.

    Your bone mass can be heavier, muscle weighs much more then fat. You could have just eaten more that day then your friend. There are many reasons to why your friend weighs less then you.

    Muscle weighs more than fat. You may have more muscle than your friend :)
