How much should $25,000 worth of life insurance cost for a healthy 44 year old non-smoker male?

According to the pricing tool on my web site a $50,000 policy (since hardly anybody sells $25,000) is

$8/month for a 10 year term

$12/month for a 20 year term

$15/month for a 30 year term

$48/month for a policy to last to age 100

$25,000 wouldn't be half though because of policy fees, so if you're going to buy insurance at least buy a worthwhile amount.

Depends where you are from and what type of life insurance (whole life or term). I'll assume you're from the US (most posters on here are). The quoting website I use only does term quotes but for 20 yr term for $25,000 you're looking at about $15 average per month (some are cheaper...$11something on the low end, some are more...depends on the company)

If you contact a broker in your area they will be able to give you a more detailed answer based on your exact situation.

You could get a lot cheaper life insurance policy if you take a level term policy with level premiums for 20 or 30 years or however long you want the policy.

A whole life policy will be too expensive. Call some local agents and get some quotes for both policies. Then you will see what I mean.
