Do you think i have Lymphoma?
Hi, i am an athletic 15 year old male. About 1 year ago, I noticed 3 swollen lymph nodes on my neck( two in the back left and right corners of my neck and one in between my chin and beginning of my neck) they felt tender, warm, hurt when i touched them, and were oval shaped 1.5cm by 1.5 cm. About a week after the lymph nodes got a bit smaller and didn't hurt when touching them. I still have these same lymph nodes they haven't decreased/ increased in size since, they are pretty firm, they feel like they are stuck to a underlying tissue and are painless. I have gotten plenty of other lymph nodes like these on my groin and armpits, but go away fully after a week. I think that this may be due to the fact that i squeezed and played with lymph nodes i have now, but i did not touch the ones that are gone. I am not experiencing night sweats, fatigue, or weight loss. Do you think i have lymphoma? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thankyou
God bless!

Lymph nodes swell up all the time. The chances its cancer related are probably less then 1%.
If they persist, get them checked out. The doc can touch them and feel if they are somethign to worry about. Because you dont have other symptoms, odds are he will just take the wait and see approach. Meaning he will recheck them again in a couple months, or have you just come back in they dont go away or they get bigger. And yes, touching them a lot can keep them enlarged or make them even bigger.
Many people do have palpalable lymph nodes they can always feel even when healthy. And many people say anything up to .5 inch is considered in the normal range for lymph nodes. Many docs wont even biposy them until they are certain size.

I think most likely you don't have lymphoma you could maybe just sweating a lot and not being clean enough since you did say you were an athlete. Though I would definitely talk to your doctor and check up on it because it may be lymphoma but even if it's not it could still be serious. Also go to Wikipedia and check out the picture of the lymph nodes if they look like yours then there might be some trouble.

You should definitely get the lymph nodes checked out, but it's most likely not lymphoma if you've had them for over a year and haven't experienced any other health problems. Swollen lymph nodes aren't that uncommon.

You should go to the doctor and have it checked. If he/she suspects something they can do a biopsy to see if it cancerous or not.
Hope this helps and God bless

Weight is a problem for many people, especially those trying to lose it. I used colon cleanse and it certainly worked for me. There's a free trial on right now at http://celart.yourwholesalediet.info/ , why not try it, why not?
