what are jobs are there for 14 year olds?

you could try something like a farm type job doing stuff like blueberry picking (at least thats what avalible where I'm from) or a newspaper deliverer. But, becasue your only 14 it will be diffcult to find a "real job" becuase of child labor laws

I'm going to be honest with you...none. You'll be better off just focusing on your homework optimistically hoping the economy improves by the time you finish school. You can try applying at Fast Food restaurants and the retail stores in shopping malls, but it's most likely just a waste of your time and the employer's time.

If employers aren't hiring people with PhD's and 20 years of expierence, they surely won't hire an inexperienced 14 year old.

If the state you lives in allows 14 year olds to work, chances are the best job you could get is in fast food, or perhaps working at a grocery store.

I'm afraid the choices aren't great. Maybe fast food restaurants; baby sitting, pet sitting, mowing lawns, raking leaves, shoveling snow.

You have to be 16 for retail jobs.

hey girl, i'm 14 too and there arent many options for us sadly. but one thing i get ALOT of money from is BABYSITTING, i know it sounds brief but you can get loads of money from that plus if you like kids like i do it can be really fun.

Another is, being a counslor or teen counsler at a local camp or rec center. I have this camp i go to at the rec center and i joined and applied to be counslor(like youth teacher) and its really fun because you get to be like in the camp but get paid at the same time.
