What's wrong with my computer?
My computer will not turned on, even when it is charged and the battery is in it. I have also tried turning on my laptop plugged in, without a battery, and it still doesn't turn on. What's wrong with it? I've had it for about 3 years and its an HP business laptop that I bough through my school.

Does it go through a power cycle every 30 seconds or so? If so, the video may have overheated and you have bad solder joints on the video chip. This is a common problem with HP laptops, especially those with dedicated video chips...
If under warranty, send it to get fixed. Don't believe any HP story about 1 year warranty only. They had video problems with the DV6000 series, and extended support to 2 years as a "customer satisfaction service" (after threat of class action suit)

Call HP for support. Your power supply, battery, or even worse, your motherboard may have failed on you.
