Not two different countries. Catalunya is a region in spain. Back in the day, each was region. Like Valencia, Catalunya, aragon, ect. I guess you can kidna say its a state. Catalunyas capital is Barcelona.
Catalunya is a national team that isnt recognized by FIFA or UEFA. They have tried ot get UEFA membership but they havent gotten it. Obviously their players have spanish citizenship. Alot of their players play in barcelona like Puyol, Busquets, Bojan, Pique, Xavi
