With the economy the way it is, Community College, or Junior College, is a very cost effective way to start your higher education. In the past, these two year colleges were looked down on, but lately they are finally coming into their own, and being recognized as good value for the dollar. Unless cost is not important to you, save your money for medical school, where you will pay big bucks for many years!
As for med school requirements, well, you need really good grades! Focus on your studies and take a rigorous course of subjects in high school, AP classes if available.

Some colleges make deals with you to automatically accept you to their med school. See about finding special offers with some of the schools you're applying for.
