Will deleting Zwinky (My Web Search, Smiley Central) make my computer virus free and faster?
I download Zwinky on my mom computer cause I like chatting with my friends. I'm not allowed to have a Myspace and I have on anyways and I thought that was messing up my computer. I deleted Zwinky cause I didn't need it not that I'm getting a laptop. This morning my computer was corrupt so I thought it would help too. I just found out that Zwinky has a million viruses and I feel so bad and I know it's all my fault. Did deleting Zwinky make my computer virus free or not at risk or what? Please I need help.
We have Nortan Antivirus. But the problem is its not for resolving viruses its for keeping them out and I had Zwinky before that. We have the backup for my computer so if it goes corrupt we fix it. I just feel really bad about messing up my mom's computer.

No you need to run a virus scan. If you downloaded a virus from anywhere, simply deleting the file is usually too late.
