How can I see my kids again?
My wife has taken my kids and went with some other guy to another state! I haven't had the money or the resources to file for anything but divorce. She was gone 5 months and told me that she had already filed before I found out she was trying to wait 6 months to file were she was so I filed for divorce and now she wont let me see my kids or speak to them and my phone doesn't have long distance so I cant even call I have to wait for her and she hasn't called in a month. I know I need a attorney but I don't have the money and legal aid has denied me. What can I do about this the divorce has been in writing about 3 months now but I cant serve her without knowing her address, she also is 5 months pregnant with this other guys baby (the cort said I have to wait for the birth). I live in Texas any info would help thank you........

In Texas you can buy a long distance card at the 99 Cent store. You are going to have to pull yourself together and be the Lion that your children need you to be. This victim position you're taking will result in never seeing your kids again. You must do everything in your power to see your kids. First of all, you should be working every hour of the day. Two, or even three jobs. You serve her by running an ad in the paper if you can't find her, but in TX, you are required to wait for the birth of that baby. She has to wait six months to establish residency in her new state. You could go to court in TX and ask for temporary custody of your children until it's established by the divorce decree. The paperwork is online, and it only costs $35 to file with the court.

You need to take the divorce with you and go to the other state/county she is living in. Or write a letter with proof of divorce to the authorities for visitation. They can't help you unless they know the circumstances. Unfortunately you don't know where she is? You'll have to use your legwork on this. Why isn't legal aid willing to help you?? That's the avenue to use.
Maybe her relatives can tell you where she is, they would know, you'll know if they will help you.
Also, Jenny Bolton needs to find some empathy in her cold cold heart. :(

your ex doesnt have any legal right to keep your children away from you and not letting you contact your children..
you need to petition the court for visitation (you can contact legal aid in most states and they can help if your financially struggling)...
good luck
