Should I report this promiscuous mom?

Question

My neighbor is a single mom living with her 14 year old daughter. I know the mom, I know she does a lot of coke and goes out partying all weekend with one boyfriend or another, is into kinky sex (which she tapes) and all other kinds of things. The dad is sort of in the picture, but his lifestyle is not much better. 

I confronted the mom on her daughter's drug use (she was smoking pot with her friends outside the building) but the mom doesn't care because "everyone does it," which she said right in front of her daughter! 

The girl is doing very poorly at school, spends weekends at home unsupervised with friends of either gender, and obviously doesn't see anything wrong with what she's doing. She thinks it's perfectly normal for girls her age to drink and smoke, which is hardly surprising, because her mom does too.

I'm considering reporting the mom to Child Protective Services. I'm sure she'll know it was me, since I've confronted her in the past, and also mom and daughter get along, so it's not like I can expect either of them to be happy about my involvement.

What would you do?

You should call CPS, that mum is not fit to look after her child, and the child has been brought up in such a bad way that she does not know what is right and what is wrong. Sure you might be hated by the girl and her mother but it's the right thing to do, imagine that girl's life when she's older, she will be addicted to drugs and maybe be an alcoholic, she might get herself into prostitution for money for the drugs (it happens a lot) and she might become homeless etc. so you need to do something about it, and now. 

My neighbour reported my other neighbour to social services because the children (who are about 5,3 and 2 years old) were pooping in the garden and in the house, climbing out the windows and you could hear their mum screaming at them telling them that they were b*tches and stuff. Now that her children have been taken away she is taking parenting classes, she completely refurnished her home and she's trying to make changes to be able to get the children back... who knows, maybe getting her 14 year old taken away from her might change your neighbour's behaviour. 

I think you should do the right thing and report her.

I would report her, the daughter deserves a loving caring home where she is NOT neglected. If you let her daughter continue her ways she will grow up and have a child like her and it wil go on like that.

You should call child protective services, It's morally right. Lots of people these days even if some old person falls next to them they won't help them up, so the more just people in the world the better.

report them to CPS!!! it would only be right and probably best for them!! what they are doing is wrong and they are haming themselves a lot!! it would be best if they got professional help!!
