how do i get rid of an accumulated snow pile outside of my house?

its taking up a parking space. i live in philadelphia pa.

    A bag of snow melt salt (that you sprinkle on icy stairs/sidewalks) comes to mind. Dump the whole bag on it! Or $5-$10 to that kid down the street.

    If you know someone with a snowblower, they can hack away at the pile and get it out of the way. A plow will just push it and create more problems. I'm sure there are more storms ahead of you. If you own the place, get on Craigslist and buy a used blower.
