If you can't find it, then why do you add to the teaching that Jesus gave. after all we should be Christ Like in all his ways and follow his example. after all if Jesus and his disciples and his family did not celebrate his birthday why is it celebrate it today?
(Revelation 22:18-19) 18 “I am bearing witness to everyone that hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone makes an addition to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll; 19 and if anyone takes anything away from the words of the scroll of this prophecy, God will take his portion away from the trees of life and out of the holy city, things which are written about in this scroll.

no place in the bible does it tell us when Jesus Christ was born. Jesus told us to celebrate his death not his birth. ask a child what xmas is all about and they say gifts and not one word about Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the passover or last supper, Nisan 14, all around the world Jehovah Witnesses celebrate his death.

There isn't any specific date of Jesus' birth mentioned, although some people say you can work it out.
One of the important things about the Bible is it doesn't record stuff the writers didn't consider important within their cultural understanding. Thus, we know a lot concerning the events of Jesus' death and resurrection, but very little about his birth and pretty well nothing between his birth and the start of his ministry.
In fact, one could go even further and say the writers only wrote about the things that were different from their cultural norm, not the things that were normal. We only know Jesus had an expensive cloak because the soldiers gambled for it, otherwise we would never know he had an expensive cloak.
Two obvious reasons for this, although in all likelihood they are completely wrong are:1) God wanted to give us the flexibility to choose a day on which Jesus was born; 2) God didn't want us to focus upon Jesus' birth, but upon his death and resurrection.

Interesting we know the date of his death but not his birth. This shows what was important to the Creator.
I notice "Simon" says he uses outside sources and mentioned BC means before Christ and that is right. That is why they now use BCE meaning "before common era" because those outside sources found out that Jesus was born 2 BC. How could that be?

We celebrate Christmas on the 25th based on available information outside the Bible. The current western calendar is centered on the birth year of Christ. BC = Before Christ.
The chapter in Revelation you reference is talking about false prophecy or teachings. A good example would be the Book of Mormon as this "adds to these things". I believe you are confusing the two.

I agree with you. And it is sad how people incorporate a pagan holiday with words of the Bible. Yet, they choose not to follow the teachings of Jehovah God. They would rather mix up, turn around and go by their own made up laws than the truth.

In celebrating Christmas, no one is adding to the words of Revelations, nor any other book of the Bible. No one is claiming that celebrating Jesus birthday on Dec. 25th is scriptural. Neither are any of the other holidays we follow scriptural, nor the names that we have for the days of the week and the months of the year.
When Jehovah Witnesses celebrate Christ's Memorial or The Lord's Evening Meal during passover, is it done in a scripturally sound way? Once per year, and only the remaining 10,000 members of your 144,000 partaking of the bread? I thought Christ said do this often in remembrance of me. I also thought the Bible shows all believers partaking of the bread and wine in remembrance of Christ. Paul even wrote that this should not be done in gluttony, that is do not treat it like a meal. In your particular way of observing Christ's Memorial you create so many discrepancies with the Bible, that I believe you would be well in researching and praying to God for insight into the truth of that matter, even moreso than worrying about what Christians are doing on Dec 25th.

It isn't.
The 25th was chosen because it was so close to the 21st when all those druid and pagen rituals take place which the church Co-opted.
In all likelyhood the man was born in march or april based on where the stars were reported in the sky.

Its not specified. Sometime in fall by the descriptions of other activities. The powers that be moved it near the soltice to compete with the pagan and other popular traditions of the time.
