What should I buy my grandfather for Christmas.?

Grandfathers can be so tough to buy for,maybe you could buy a photo album and put some photos in it,or maybe a nice throw blanket for him,or buy some kinds of foods that he likes and make up a little gift basket for him,just a few ideas,hope they help you out.

i used to do a hamper for my gran who is 88. you could combine small gardening bits (i.e. gardening gloves, seeds/bulbs etc), food and drink in it. remember if he doesn't drink, he will probably be entertaining others who do at some point. i know it's boring but at least i know my gran used everything instead of puting it in a top press with all the other unwanted gifts. you can buy the hamper baskets in some homeware stores or someone in your family may have an old one from a received hamper.

One year i gave my poppop a list of questions about his life and whatnot and a journal and he had a nice time writting his anwers in it! and now i have a keepsake.

Some questions might be what his faveorite color, food, etc are.

how he met his wife

how he proposed

his fave family memeories

what jobs he has had and what they were like

his fave childhood memeories

you know him better there may be nmore specfic questions you might think of.

i think this is a nice present since it shows you have interest in him as a person.

A book is always welcome like an almanac of the year of his birth or graduation.

If u have a printer and scanner u may want to make a picture book with a dozen photographs and next year add to them.

If he likes wine or liquor, get him a nice brandy.

A rocking chair made out of sandwiches. Or if you don't have that much bread, just a plain rocking chair. With ONE sandwich on top.
