Suggestions of books to buy...?

I'm going to Barnes and Noble soon and I want to buy some good books. I'm also going to the library, so any good suggestions would help. I like books like The Uglies, Eon:The Dragoneye Reborn, Fairest, Artemis Fowl, Percy Jackson, all Tamora Pierce books, Alex Rider, Vampirates, Fablehaven, Jonathon Strange and Mr Norrell, The Heir Series, Leven Thumps, THe Naming, The HUnger games, The Knife of Never Letting Go, Evil Genius, Inkheart, Pendragon, THe Bartimaeus Trilogy, Magyk, Tunnels, the UNderland Chronicles, and The Supernaturalists. Hope those gave you an idea of the books I like. I tend to go more for the adventure, action, fantasy kind of books without too much romance. I have already read Twilight and Harry Potter, so please don't suggest those.

Yeah, so I'm 14, and am asking for suggestions of good books I could read/buy/borrow. Thanks.

Wow, your hunger for books amazes me, i wish i started reading when i was 14. Well you read all the fantasy stories and what not. Its time you stretch your mind and start reading stuff like The Republic of Plato, Homers Odyssey and maybe even the bible? you don't have to, but i think its time you learn a little about life and forget fantasies. I guarantee you will start thinking better. I was C average student in High School, I started reading Plato, Socrates and the bible (the bible is not just a holly book, its just as hard to understand then any other book, great stuff) by the end of my senior year and I gain some wisdom, not much but i am clearly more intellectual.

    Is up to you though,

    hope i helped

Try the Charlie Bone series. It's been awhile since I've read them but they were really good. Also a book i just finished called Am I Blue? Coming Out From the Silence. Which is a collection of short stories about young people dealing with their sexual orientations. (If ur a homophobe its not for u) It was really good and an easy read. I found myself truly interested in reading the next sentence.. and turning the next page. That doesn't happen often with my attention span.

1000 fabulous Suns by using Khaled Hosseini (author of The Kite Runner) night by using Elie Wiesel The Little Prince by using Antoine St. Exupery they are the two fairly rapid reads. 1000 fabulous Suns takes a pair of week. that's follows 2 women human beings over the span of thirty years in Afghanistan and how they look after the conflict, tyranny, oppression, and violence. that's common and actually undemanding to stick to. night is actual account of the author's adventure at Auschwitz in the process the Holocaust. For me, it took under an afternoon to study. that's an outstanding and beautiful e book. The Little Prince is seen to be a new child's e book, yet i think of adults would desire to study it too. that's an lovable e book and takes under an hour to study.

lol, you basically just knocked down my whole list there! Um....

    Eragon

    Warriors, by Erin Hunter

i think you may like those, sorry if you've already read Eragon. Warriors is about cats, and while that sounds lame, try reading the series. The multiple series. six books each. four series.....not to mention spacial edition, manga, and feild guides. Yes, Warriors will keep you busy for a while. ;)
