internet in your room at Tech school?

There will be a few wifi spots at Keesler. Your dorm will have a commons area that has wifi but you'll have to pay for it. They have the same thing at the Levitow building (you'll know what I'm talking about when you get there). The only way to get internet in your room is if you use your cell phone as a wireless router.

As for your question Jason, yes you can bring all of that stuff. At BMT you'll be able to bring three bags with you, the green duffel bag which is going to be full of your issued items, a suitcase which will be about half-full with the rest of your issued stuff, and a carry-on size bag. You can get more personal items shipped to you while you're at tech school. You can use all the stuff you mentioned but can't keep any of it out in your room while you're phase 1, which is two weeks. You don't really want to bring your speakers while you're there, it's just more stuff to have to ship to your first base when you leave and stuff does get stolen from time to time.

You cannot get a phone line for dsl or cable for a cable modem while in Tech School.

So he will have to sign up with verison, att, etc for wireless internet.

Id look around first though and try to get a program that doesn't require a long term contract, even if it means paying more.

After all, why sign a 12 month agreement, when the provider may not offer service at the Base you will be assigned to after Tech School.

Yea, I'm curious about the same thing. I'm gonna be at tech school at Goodfellow Air Force Base. Are we allowed to have personal belongings there? Laptops? Phones? Speakers? What are the rules for tech school?

Yes if you want to pay for it. And it depends on the base you are on. There is also internet available in the libraries and the lounges.
