dell inspiron 1525 ubuntu 9.10 wireless problems?
I'm new to Ubuntu and currently using the 9.04 version. I'm having problems getting my wireless to work with ndiswrapper. I've blacklisted and got the .inf file.
I use the the windows wireless driver window. Every time i get the driver in the window to install I click install and it says "unable to see if hardware is present". When I click ok it says yes to hardware present. Can anyone help me? I dont know if there is a post already or not looking for help and direction

Why don't u try a BETTER linux Like Mandriva Power Pack a paid linux with all the drivers if u have a dell 1525 chances are it uses the broadcom card (Dell mini card...) unless who choose the Intel wifi linux I told u about includes all the Linux WL drivers that will automatically work with your Dell
