How do I stop the icon in the upper left hand corner of the website typey-box from doing this?

Every site you go to, there's the icon in the upper left hand corner of the website typey box, right? Like for yahoo answers, it's a green thing with an asterisk in it. Well when I go to facebook, the blue 'f' box carries along to all my other websites, even though i clear my browsing history! Is there any way to stop this? thanks!

No. This is just each website's call sign. This appears for everyone, and is not a virus or anything.

Click Tools on the upper right hand corner of the internet browser, and select Internet Options, select Advanced Options and uncheck the box "Search Suggestions." I think that is just suggestions not your history. If I am wrong, Click Tools and Delete Browsing History and make sure you check ALL. Hope I Helped.

properly i'm off hollow for existence, and my estimate of Yahoo has taken valuable, too. Who on the earth theory it wasn't going to be completely traumatic and offputting? they could be strapped to a chair and uncovered to it way greater beneficial than the *as quickly as* they of course heard it while identifying it became smart or cute. They probably is honestly no longer sturdy for lots afterwards, yet given they handed the assumption in the 1st place, that is no great loss.
