  • What is this song called?

Ha so all I remember about it is that its chorus went 'I was fine before' repeated a lot and then it also had 'i don't make my home here' repeated, and the first words in the song were something talking about how you can feel with your hands. Or something.

  • Super Obscure Song Titles(difficult)?

    Hello!

So I was listening to the radio, and I heard two songs. One was in 3/4 time, with violins plucking and a guitar and a Spanish-sounding horn, and only two verses: I couldn't really hear but it sounded like 'faces are lost without names'.

The second I remember the chorus was 'Isn't it a long way down, isn't it a strange way down.' And a verse was 'There was a girl with chestnut hair, sometimes she was a woman, sometimes she was a child'. Or something.

Any help would be loved!!! :D

  • Help with this song? vague lyrics...?

The chorus sounded like it was saying "is there room for me in your eyes", repeated a lot, with a lot of 'doo's after that, a woman singing, with guitar.

It was on the American version of Being Human, if that helps. :D

    Thanks so much in advance!

  • Does anyone know these songs?

    Hi,

I was listening to the radio and I came across a couple songs I liked, but when I googled the lyrics I remembered, I couldn't find them online.

The first one was a man and a woman singing about not singing the same note, and their relationship was all rocky or something, and how you couldn't sing harmony from memory.

The second began with what sounded like 'lipstick sinking ships' and the chorus had 'i'm headed for a fall: you can think twice or not at all' in it.

    Any help would be awesome!

  • does anyone know the title of this song?

Ok this is a hard one...

It sort of had an Irish-y chorus, and some of the chorus was "I am loved by all, my (something), my handkerchief, my damsel and my dog". It went on to talk about how "an angel warned us", and that is pretty much all I heard.

I really loved it, though, but I can't find it if I google the lyrics.

    Help? :D

  • Memory card not working in computer?

I have a kodak EasyShare camera with a SanDisk memory card. It has always worked before when I put it into its slot on my computer, with a box that pops up and downloads my pictures right away. But it's not working now. I put it in and the computer doesn't even recognize that there's new hardware. It was just working three weeks ago and I haven't done anything different. I don't have a USB cord for the camera, either, so this is my last chance. What's wrong?

  • How much does it cost to replace a flat bike tire?

I don't know if it's just the tire or the tube inside too or the rim, I really don't know anything about it, I've never had a flat before. :( But it's my friend's bike and I have to pay, so what's the highest amount I'll have to pay, imagining everything that could possibly go wrong with a flat tire, and will shops replace flat tires? Thanks!

  • Illinois driver's license facilities?

I think I'm getting my license on Saturday. Since Deerfield's closed, are there any opinions on which facility in Illinois is the easiest? Also, what do you need to know? I've heard some people say that you just drive around the block, and others say you need to know parallel parking and uphill/downhill.

    Thanks!

  • Why does people's handwriting change?

I have a friend who had squashed, elongated scribbly writing, all of a sudden she has carefully rounded bubbly writing now, like type. How come people's havdwriting changes all of a sudden, or over time?

  • How do you motivate to study something in school that you won't use later?

I.e chemistry and math! I can't ever concentrate on them and it's taking a huge toll on how stressed I am because I don't understand, no matter how long I study or ask different people, and now my finals are coming up and all I can think about is how I can't concentrate on them because I don't need them later in life. How do you dispel these negative thoughts before huge tests, and how can you improve test-taking for someone who is easily distracted while taking tests?

  • What do you do when you've lost your passion for something you once loved?

Last year, I was motivated to play violin, I was a first and sat fourth chair in the top orchestra. I got solos and special recognitions, even though I don't have a private teacher. Now, I can barely play at all and just take no joy, I sit in the back, I can't concentrate and only think about what's happening after orchestra. This is causing my once A plus grade to go down, and I just wish I could get back this passion. could it have something to do with being a sophomore (A lot of people complain about this year)? I don't know why I am so listless in something I once loved!

The same goes for painting. I used to love painting, even though I don't have a teacher, and my sister bought me all sorts of supplies for christmas that I just can't use. I take no joy in it anymore. Did I just grow out of this passion, or what else could have happened? I feel lost and useless without these things that defined me, but when I try and play or paint anymore, I feel like I'm wasting time. What happened to me?

a bunch of my friends went on a trip that goes thursday, friday and saturday so obviously they'll be out of school, We have finals this tuesday, but I just can't seem to concentrate on studying for them because I'm jealous of the trip and can't stop thinking about how much fun they're having! :p what are some tips to keep concentrating and be motivated to do schoolwork when you've already studied for weeks and weeks in advance, and just need to get that last couple days of studying out, even though you can't concentrate?

    thanks!

  • HEY writers! (cheesy grin) how can I avoid this cliche?

Sooo, just for fun, I decided I was going to work on one of my old NaNoWriMo stories, but then realized it is utterly cliche. How can I avoid that whole Matrix-esque, robots-destroying-human-population-Resistance band of humans-save the world type thing? Any fun suggestions to get my brain whirring would be fabulous. I thought about having it from the robots' point of view, but that takes away the human element in the story (obviously). Feel free to just blurt random rainbow crap on this page. I've got writers' block and it's desperate measures time, :p

  • How do I stop the icon in the upper left hand corner of the website typey-box from doing this?

Every site you go to, there's the icon in the upper left hand corner of the website typey box, right? Like for yahoo answers, it's a green thing with an asterisk in it. Well when I go to facebook, the blue 'f' box carries along to all my other websites, even though i clear my browsing history! Is there any way to stop this? thanks!

  • Why do people not think teenagers can fall in love?

It seems like every time I like someone, or admire someone, it's automatic that I like 'the idea' of them, or the 'idea' of love, but not him. Why can't teenagers fall in legitimate love? And what's so different about falling in love with an idea vs. the real person? (I mean besides falling in 'love'/obsession with Edward Cullen.) If you like the idea of someone, that's enough to date them, right? And then what's with dating---there are so many people who date based on looks alone, or mere niceness or need of a girlfriend or boyfriend, especially in the younger grades. So what's the criteria of a relationship for teenagers? What do we look for? I mean I know people think, 'you're a teenager, so have fun with it', but how can you have fun in a relationship based purely on physical attraction? Or an 'idea' of someone? Or when you have nothing in common?

Most importantly, why are people trying to convince me I only like the 'idea' of someone, and if this keeps happening, won't I never really like someone, just the 'idea' of their relationship?

    I WANT ANSWERS!

  • Is she being dramatic or does she really need help?

My best friend and I have been having a kind of rocky relationship lately. It began when she started dating my ex boyfriend five days after we broke up, and he started telling her all this crap about me and ignoring me completely. She can't see his lies, either, and is emotional... Even before, she told me my ex could 'help her out' with her depression problems, since he has a psychologist too. I said okay, but knew they would end up dating, which has stressed her and me out even more, because you just don't date your best friend's ex, no matter how much they can 'help' you.But the ex story isn't the one I need help with.

Lately, she's been depressed:even though she still has me as a friend and none of our other friends think she is a whore for dating my ex, AND she has a boyfriend, she's still down all the time, with mood swings, becoming deliriously happy one moment and pissed off the next. For no reason. She's been getting increasingly dramatic, doing things that call HUGE attention to herself but she claims she doesn't want the attention from her boyfriend, who I know from experience HATES girls who complain constantly. And that's all she ever does. She's affecting my grades and her own with her indecisiveness and seemingly bipolar behaviour.

Yesterday we were working, and she was down and pissed off. She'd been acting weird all day, and I know her and her mood swings. She kind of half-fainted-ish, and her boyfriend comes running over all worried, like he's done for the past eight times. She proceeds to take three hours off. And I know sometimes you need that, but she's been doing things like that ALOT.

I find myself caught in between trying to be sensitive and caring and a good friend, which I've been trying to do because I thought that she truly was sorry. But she's doing stupid things and I just can't tell if she's trying to call attention to herself of if she really does need help. I'm tired of her drama but can't bear losing her, because she was a good friend, once. I don't know how to be a good friend anymore.

    Please help? :)
