Why has Obama's job approval ratings dropped 3 points since announcing success on health-care reform?

I prefer to read the reports instead of listening to "talking heads" who promote an agenda, so I've presented a wide range of polls.

Obama has watched his job ratings lose 2-4% per month.

If this slide continues, how soon before Obama has the same approval ratings as Bush did near the end of his second term?

Is Obama refreshing the memories of the american people on what it means to be a "tax and spend" democrat.

because the American people don't want healthcare. approval ratings of the bill with the public option were at 26% that was lower than hillary care which got laughed out.

    Source(s): common sense.

There is a difference between 8 years of Bush vs. 11 months of Obama. You don't have to see TV pundits or even read online reports. You can figure out for yourself. That would be more impartial and more accurate to analyze the situation with your own brain.

A poll does not reflect the merits of policy. It reflects an emotional reaction to circumstances. Even though the White House under Obama has done a lot for people, they are still resistant to him and scared because they see jobs disappearing. That is a result of the economics of the last 20 years coming to a head but the person in office gets blamed. Thats what Bush knew, thats what they planned to happen and even said he was passing off the mess in Iraq to the next President.

I guess it depends on the poll you see, I've seen more than one that shows Obama's rating are going up. So whatev.

People are so manipulated by the media. Here's a poll that showed 57% of the public supported the public option:

Of course, that was BEFORE the media blitz by Faux and the Insurance companies that muddied the minds of the lemmings.

Eventually it will settle in 66% disapproval vs. 34% approval.

All you have to do to know that is see the demographics of America and a picture of Obama.

This must be why 50% of the population now says they would rather have Bush back...Obama is proving there is someone that can be worse than Bush.

becasue he is doing the same ole thing....he is not doing anything out of the ordinary...hell if he really wanted changed you would see 1000s of people being arrested instead of having checks handed to them....
