2004 jeep grand cherokee drivers door electric problem.?
Jeep Grand Cherokee 2004. My windows and mirror and lock does not work in drivers door. Cant find fuse.?
My windows and my mirror and lock for drivers door does not work. I looked for a fuse but not labled windows locks or mirror. Looked in both fuse boxes. I even took the door apart and looked at wires but they were fine. I took it to 2 mechanics and they could not believe they were not labled. Nobody can find the problem. They also said very rarely or really not at all that the modules in the door with the controlls take a crap. So please anyone help me out.

Why piss around with labels? It's either good or bad. Get a test light or a fuse tester and turn the ignition on and test every fuse you can find. One or more will be bad. Replace it and drive.....Not hard if you think outside the box guy. Who are these so called mechanics that did not know to check these so easily?

These grand cherokees have big problems with the wiring that goes from the body to the door, they tend to split from opening and closing the door, if you open the drivers door there is a black boot that houses all the wires, either try wiggling this boot to see if they start working, if not open the boot and find the bad wires. easy test is do you have power to the wiring heades out to the door and do you have power inside the door, But trust me this is common problem on ths model

U have a bad ground inside the black boot running from door to interior. I spliced the ground directly to a door bolt problem solved. Went ahead and did the passenger side also. Only takes about 10 minutes per side. This is a common problem with Cherokees .
