How much of a Christmas bonus do I give personal providers caring for my mom with Alzheimer's?

These folks put in about 6 hrs a day - there is a primary provider and 5 others who help her to various degrees. I've heard anywhere from a gift card to nothing - suggestions?

A bonus is more important than people think. It expresses how much you appreciate all that they do for you as an employee. Someone who cares for one of your loved ones and does a good job (which is hard to find these days) is a very special employee.

I would say first determine what you can afford to give. Times are hard right now and your employee will understand that. If you have it to give, I would say lose to 10% of their monthly pay would be a terrific bonus for a good employee.

I think you should give then around 20 to 30 Christmas bonus because if they take care of your mother they deserve it all. but A small gift will be just as nice.

A full day's pay is standard for that type of employee.
