Will my B of A check card go through?
Help please!
I get paid tonight via direct deposit, however, could i use this check card (as a credit card) for purchases today? I don't want to waste time in line for nothing so close to Christmas.

No, it will be declined since you don't have the funds until the bank opens in the morning. You can write a check (if not electronic).

Oooh...I don't suggest it. I've used my card as a credit transaction before on my lunch break at work and before I got back to the office, the charge had already posted. Wait until your money is there or be ready for an NSF fee - usually $25+ for each occurrence.

Nope, the charge will go through immediately even if you don't have the funds in the account.
You will get hit with a nice NSF fee.
Merry Christmas to the bank.

You're on the internet...don't you use online banking? Make it easy on yourself and LOOK before you leap.
