Hi: Don't need to add oil: Here is a simple recipe:
1/2 cup heavy cream
8 oz semisweet chocolate chips.
Warm cream in saucepan over Med low heat and stir to keep from scorching, don't bring to a boil - stick your finger in it and if it is uncomfortable after a couple of secs, add chocolate chips and stir until all melted. Pour into a fondue pot and keep warm over a candle. You can add 1 tsp flavored extract for taste (like peppermint, almond, vanilla)
Serve with: Banana slices (add lemon juice to keep from darkening) Pound cake cut into small squares, Strawberries, Marshmallows cut in half, angelfood cake cut into small squares, apples, oranges, grapes - whatever goes well. Good luck!
