It all depends on how the Eagles do. If Philly keeps winning, the pressure will stay on the Vikings for the number two seed in the NFC and the first round bye that comes with it.

Since you're a Giants fan, hope for the Broncos to beat Philly next week and also hope for a Vikings win. That could mean not much of the Vikings' starters when they play New York.

However, if the Cowboys win out they win the NFC East at 11-5; which in turn would make the Eagles a wild card and possibly push the Giants out of the playoffs. (Unless the Packers somehow lose out).

This whole thing won't get sorted out until the season ends!

    Giants fan here.

I see us losing to the Panthers and defeating Minnesota. Screw whether or not their starters are playing or not, SCREW that. We have a great, great chance of winning that game. The Vikings, not only Brett Favre, are going through a slump.

Every team goes through a slump some point of the season. The only team that gets away with it, is the Colts. The Chargers started 2-3, Cowboys started 2-2, The Eagles lost 2 of their 3 games at a point, the Giants lost four in a row, the Steelers have lost 5 in a row, etc. etc. We will dominate the Vikings just because of the fact they are collapsing. Don't worry about the starters.

Remember: Last year, we rested our starters vs Minnesota and they won by only 1 point. It could be a close game though.

  • It's tough to say right now. Minnesota has been struggling, and I think this whole Brad Childress v Favre thing has got the locker room into a bit of a shaky state. With that said though, they have been a great team all season and easily have the talent to beat New York.

The Giants seem to be back to winning ways. Manning is 100%, Jacobs is rushing the ball well again and their defense is playing well.

My pick however is the Giants. The Vikings off field struggles will effect them on the field, and I think Favre won't be the same in the cold weather. The Giants are looking for that push toward the Wildcard, and I think this will be the game that gets them there.

Giants are in playoff games the last two weeks to have any chance to make the playoffs...everyone plays and NY wins, 28-13. The Vikings will be staggering into the playoffs like a drunk at 3 am on January 1.

The Vikings will be playing for a first round bye. If the Eagles win out and the Giants can beat the Vikes, than Philly gets the first round bye. How foes it feel to have to help a team in your own division?

they might probable start up them, yet they'd not end the game assuming the giants win against the panthers. If panthers win and vikings win, then the giants might could because of the fact vikings and giants may be taking part in for 2d seed and bye. yet meaning the bears would not get in the two way if viking win in the present day.. flow VIKINGS!!!!

I know this is rare but the Eagles need the giants to win,but you need the eagles to lose. If the eagles win and the giants beat the vikings than we get 1st round bye.

  • That would be the dumbest thing ever. They already will have a first round bye so sitting their starters would be two weeks off in a row and I think it would be more detrimental than it would be helpful.

Hopefully the Vikes knock off the Giants.
