Am I eating too much sugar?

I eat a very healthy diet, but about 90% of my daily carbs come from sugars (sugar alcohol, and sugars from milk, yogurt and fruits, NOT refined sugars). I am trying to lose weight and gain muscle. I eat a lot of protein, but pretty much no bread or pasta. Do sugars from fruit and milk get stored as fat like refined sugars? I've recently lost 50 lbs but now my body has plateaued so I am trying to adjust my diet and exercise plans. I follow an approx. 1,200 calorie diet daily...about how many g of sugars should I be eating per day?

Any help?

Update:

The sugars I eat are directly from fresh fruit (moslty apples), fat-free fruit yogurt, and skim milk.

I don't drink fruit juice nor do I eat processed sugary foods.

Yes, if 90% of your carbs are from sugars, way too much. Almost all your carbs should be complex carbs from whole grains. Even fruit sugars, while better than table sugars, can be a big problem if they are ingested in juice form. Fruit should only be eaten as fruit and not fruit juice when dieting.
