Challenge: what breed do you think this is, and how is her conformation?
Ok, she's 13 years old, 15.1 hh, and was in training to be in the Tulsa mounted police. The pic is horrid. Can you figure out her conformation, and what her rough breed is? (aka, draft, draft cross, stock breed, warmblood, thoroughbred, etc).

Good luck!!!
Just wanted to add, I do know what she is, just wanted to see if other people could figure it out. And I'm more interested in conformation critique, because the picture makes it horribly difficult to tell what hers is...
Any comments on her conformation?
And as a hint: a few of you are on the right track... and she is not purebred in any way...
Yohanson, I'm looking for the most negative critiques, and trust me, I want the truth. I'm not fishing for compliments.
I am bias, and I know this, and I want to know what I'm not seeing.
Also, no, she's not gaited. And she's fat, though she doesn't look it in the pic. Her hind end is also tilted away from the camera, and her head is closer to the camera than the rest of her body. Hope this helps in anyone's critique.

She looks to me like a QH cross with such a big hind end...
as for confirmation...her head's a little on the small side, but it hard to tell in that picture. Her stifles look a little long too..(triangle isn't equilateral in her hind end), also looks short for her body size, but she could jsut be fat.

Definitaly not a Thoroughbred or Warmblood. She's pretty small and stocky she might just be a cross between a bunch of different breeds. Its pretty hard to tell what breed she is, sorry.

Connemara pony may/maybe not with a bit of quarter horse (she's too chunky to be thoroughbred cross, her head hasn't really got the dish of a welsh).
These are pics of connemara,

This is a pic of a connemara/quarter horse,

Her pasterns are too short and upright. Her barrel is too long for her short legs. Her hind end is too small for her body, and so his her neck.
Basically, if she had a short barrel, she'd look a lot more proportionate.
Is she gaited?
Edit- Don't ask how her conformation is, if you don't want the truth.
And I think she looks like TWH, that's why I asked if she was gaited.

I'd say she's a Quarter horse or a cross at the very least. Its really hard to tell, but her short front legs are very Quarter horsey.

shes extremely stocky! short, well built, muscled and with a strond, wide neck..?.?.?.
she has connermarena legs but a QH body.

she doesnt seem to have the conformation of a draft horse to me, i think she might be a thoroughbred cross, and she looks pretty stocky so she might have some mustang in her too.

she looks almost like a quarter, she's more on the "stocky" side :) hope this helps!!!!

Shes definitely either part Connemara or part welsh pony.
Or maybe both.
Shes also very cute :)
