Dream and consequence?

Many years ago, before 9-11, I had a dream that I was on an airplane that was taken over by terrorists. I was traveling with my children, who were 11, 9 and 6 at the time. The terrorist found out I was in the military and grabbed my children. They told me that everyone on the plane would die unless I chose one of my children to die. I had to make the choice. It was a very hard decision but I chose the youngest.

Now to the present and the consequence, a year later my wife and I got divorced and she married a guy that took a job in another country. My children are all in their 20's. I get along great with my oldest two, but the youngest doesn't hardly talk to me, except on holidays or special events, and even then it seems strained. I feel guilty, like it is my fault for choosing him to die. I never told anyone about the dream.

What should I do?

A guilt of conscience. Maybe the youngest feel theres a boundary nor gap between you. Choosing the youngest child as a sacrifice shown that you are not emotionally attached to the youngest. If I have a dream like you I will not sacrifice any of my kids. I don't care if they will all die as long as my family is safe.
