  • Why hasn't Y/A changed back to the old format?

I have not seen one positive review on the new format, all I see is give us the old one back. Does Yahoo believe that they have to control it? People can, and will leave.

  • Who came up with, "people want more than they are worth"?

Lately I have read or heard that "most people want more money than they are worth". Every time I hear this it makes my blood boil. Some corporate CEO has started this saying, trying to deflate people's ego's. It makes me mad knowing that I got laid off from a job and now I can't find one that pays a third less. But yet CEOs are making more. I want to know where the saying is coming from and why have I heard it 3 or 4 times this week.

  • question about prayers?

Why is it, when something happens to a Christian, if it is good then they praise God, if something bad happens, they say it was God's will. The Christian says that God is answering his prayers. However, the chances of anything good or bad are the same for an atheist who does not pray. How does praying do any good or make any difference?

  • Your opinion on putting unemployed people back to work.?

Opinion on my idea please. My idea is, I'm sure there are several jobs that each city, county, state, or even in the country level, that could be done by unskilled unemployed people. Here is my idea. Let a person look for a job for three months, after that, have them do work for the government, mowing parks, fixing roads, or what ever needs to be done. Still pay the same as unemployment, but the government wouldn't have to pay the high wages that government employees make. Wouldn't it be a win win situation. Reducing city/county/state expenses, and put people back to work?

  • Remote door locks with window controls?

Key fobs that lock your doors are common, my question is, does any manufacture incorporate window controls with the door locks? For example, I want to lock my vehicle but the window is down. Does any manufacturer make it so when the doors lock, the windows go up at the same time? I'm not asking how to install it, just if any car has that.

  • Dream and consequence?

Many years ago, before 9-11, I had a dream that I was on an airplane that was taken over by terrorists. I was traveling with my children, who were 11, 9 and 6 at the time. The terrorist found out I was in the military and grabbed my children. They told me that everyone on the plane would die unless I chose one of my children to die. I had to make the choice. It was a very hard decision but I chose the youngest.

Now to the present and the consequence, a year later my wife and I got divorced and she married a guy that took a job in another country. My children are all in their 20's. I get along great with my oldest two, but the youngest doesn't hardly talk to me, except on holidays or special events, and even then it seems strained. I feel guilty, like it is my fault for choosing him to die. I never told anyone about the dream.

  • Paradox of the bible?

If Satan is the father of all lies, and the bible is full of inconstancy and lies, wouldn't that mean god is actually Satan. That would explain why he would try to hide knowledge from Adam and Eve, cause the flood that killed everyone on earth, and cause all the wars.

  • Gas mileage past and present.?

Why is it in the '80's a lot of cars were getting over 30mpg, some claimed to get almost 50mpg, like the VW Rabbit diesel. Now, even with more refined electronics we are just barely getting over 30mpg in our economy cars.
