Who came up with, "people want more than they are worth"?
Lately I have read or heard that "most people want more money than they are worth". Every time I hear this it makes my blood boil. Some corporate CEO has started this saying, trying to deflate people's ego's. It makes me mad knowing that I got laid off from a job and now I can't find one that pays a third less. But yet CEOs are making more. I want to know where the saying is coming from and why have I heard it 3 or 4 times this week.

The way vertically all big business works, is to be pretty deep in debt... For most of this country's existence, the United States, ran on a deficit... During the Clinton years, the budget was actually balanced, & there was a surplus... But those years, are exception, & not the rule... Prier to, 2008.. Vertically all economist agreed, during a down turn, spending is the proper thing to do... There was one, that rejected that idea, dating all the way back to, at least, the 1970's... But was generally, at best, black balled... From getting his message out... His name was Ron Paul... Strange, now that Paul is no longer taking part, in politics, or wont be, as of 2014... The Republicans seem to be adopting, Paul's policy's... That the vast majority of economics say, wont work.... Unless you wish to literally destroy, the middle class...
