question about prayers?

Why is it, when something happens to a Christian, if it is good then they praise God, if something bad happens, they say it was God's will. The Christian says that God is answering his prayers. However, the chances of anything good or bad are the same for an atheist who does not pray. How does praying do any good or make any difference?

How do you explain that when I was a sinner, only bad things happened to me continually; but now that I am a Christian, only good things happen to me continually?

You are either in God's grace, or you are under His wrath. Now He is very patient; but unless a man repents, judgment must follow.

That's another thing, because we don't really believe there are coincidences, luck, or chances. Actually bad things are done by Satan, but God can definitely always use it for good. I think when we have a strong faith to believe in our prayer, then God rewards it. If it doesn't work out with God, then it also becomes a good thing for us in some way. Nice question.

There are many many stories of miraculous aswered prayer. The chances aren't the same. But God loves believers just as much as non-believers. Just look up stories of answered prayer on google or something. Some of the stories are amazing!

According to Islam, it's god's will, if god loves someone that doesn't mean he should give them more money, in fact Prophet Mohammd -PBUH- said : "When Allah loves a servant He tests him" so the more bad things happen to you the more merits you get in after-life.

so it's up to you if you do good or bad with your good things in life, allah only punishes people by their deeds not their money!

The flaw in your argument is your third sentence. The chances are not the same.
