I noticed while watching the news, that President Obama is left handed. I was wondering how many other presidents were left handed?

There have been 7 left-handed US Presidents.
President Obama the 44th US President is number 8.

James A. Garfield - 20th
Herbert Hoover - 31st
Harry S. Truman - 33rd
Gerald Ford - 38th
Ronald Reagan - 40th

Other than the first Mr. Bush and Mr. Clinton, the left-handed presidents everyone seems to agree on were James Garfield, Harry Truman and Gerald Ford. Some lists include Herbert Hoover, but he's omitted from others created by left-handed advocates, perhaps because they want no part of someone on whose watch the Great Depression began.

Yeah I observed that photos in elementary terms a minute in the past, i assume he's... George W Bush isn't a lefty, yet his father is. apparently Bush senior replaced right into a plenty greater advantageous president :) particular i'm a lefty lol

The past 5(including obama) were left handed...im not sure of any that were before that....GO LEFTIES!
