In my opinion many atheist are angry Christians who know NO more about being atheist then they did when they were Christians and knowing and understanding Christianity. True atheist do not waste their time on here arguing their points or imposing their wills on others. Nor do they worry about whether we use phrases like: Merry Christmas over Happy Holidays. It is the angry ex-Christians that worry and wine about things like that. In other words they do the very same thing that they did when they where Christians and that is to impose their will on others.
My point is, they target Jesus because that is where their anger comes from. Ex-Islamic members are to afraid to target Muhammad because they do not want to get their heads cut off.

Jesus to Christianity. Christianity has pretty bad history. Christianity has robbed culture. Did you know in the Americas, Columbus was allowed to rape, mutilate and enslave populations of Hispanola because the pope said God it was okay? Islam also has bloody history but think for a moment that Christianity is the most popular religion worldwide. Now try to imagine the many atrocities Christianity had to commit to enjoy such a position. Maybe Athiests just that and Jesus is the obvious mascot for Christianity.

Ordinarily, Christians will debate.
Muslims go "postal" and don't know how NOT to take it personally.
So, talking about Jesus and gods with Christians is interesting.
Having a fatwah put out on you just for asking a question about Islam is tiresome and juvenile.

I go after Mo' all the time. I can't ******* stand Muslims. Honestly, I'd rather there were a Christian theocracy than that America let the Muslims take over. I'll move out of America and before I do that, I'll vote to put a Christian theocracy in power. Just do your part and unite the churches.

I never "went after" anyone.
The majority of religious folks on here identify themselves as christians.
The one's who post some of the more inane and silly questions tend to be of that flavour, so, that may be the reason why you feel that way.

Actually, we do; but Christians don't tend to notice it so much, because they are *also* having a pop at the seventh century nonce.
