Why haven't liberals been building rafts and trying to get to Cuba for their healthcare?
I mean if it's sooooo good like M.Moore says, why haven't the 30 million "Americans" been trying to get over there and take advantage of it?
Voice of Reason, you make perfect sense.
Do Cubans have $ to travel abroad?
Do ya think the Cubans are "allowed" to travel here?

Here's where you're wrong (and I'm giving you a break on the Michael Moore numbers you espouse):
Those '600,000' people aren't forced. They choose.
And now we have 300 MILLION who have no choice, they're being forced to swallow a health care bill that seems to have no true fans other than 60 corrupt politicians.
Nice try.
Wait.
On second thought, not really much of a try at all.

Every single year, about 600,000 Americans are forced to go abroad to Mexico, Thailand, India, etc. for health care because it's too expensive at home.
Ahem, "Voice of Reason", if you need a heart transplant or a new kidney, and you will die if you wait for one at home, is it really a "choice" to go abroad? Because I don't think you're using that word the way most of us understand it. Which almost certainly makes you a libertarian. Because libertarians are the ones who think that using bizarre definitions of commonly understood words constitutes proof.

Because Congress won't let us do it? It is forbidden to travel to Cuba under most circumstances.
Getting health care is not an exception.

well for one our government restricts that. Also my friend had a cousin who traveled to Mexico and then to Cuba to get healthcare and siad it was fine.

if a person can't afford to see a doctor in the first place it's unlikely they'd be able to afford to travel abroad to see one.

It's illegal for Americans to go to Cuba.
And it makes you wonder: Is there something there the U.S. Government doesn't want us to see?
You know who else prohibits its Citizens from traveling abroad? North Korea.

republican intelligence at it's finest
also did you actually just call the 30 million without health care some kind of fake Americans? My God...

They have no skills! The working poor will have to build it. Our tax money will take care of them.
Source(s): They would never make it to Cuba! The raft would be equiped with left handed oars! They would just row round and round and never get past the Breakers!
