I think Obama should prove to us that government can work efficiently before making it bigger. He should stop all the corruption and inefficiencies in Medicare, medicate and social security. He already failed to stop earmarks after promising us before election. Your thoughts

You really think he'll be willing to go after those who commit Medicare/Medicaid fraud? Are you kidding? They're the ones who voted him in!

It's been proved that Medicare is more efficient than private insurance, i.e. more of the premiums are spent on actual patient care, but the insurance lobby won't allow them to expand Medicare.

Why didn't anyone ask the same question of Bush? He nearly doubled the size of government and no one batted an eyelash.
The last president to actually reduce the size of government was Clinton.
